It's now a legal requirement to have any dog over the age of eight weeks microchipped in England and Wales.

Every dog whilst out in public areas must wear a collar with the name and address of the owner inscribed on it or on a tag attached to it.

When in a vehicle make sure dogs or other animals are suitably restrained. Your insurance could be invalid if you don't!
